Dr. Mary Slessor Limbe is a consultant paediatrician, subspecialized in paediatric endocrinology and diabetes. She completed her medical doctor degree in Leningrad, later obtained a Masters degree in Paediatrics from the University of Nairobi. she completed a fellowship training in paediatric endocrinology and diabetes at the Pan African Training Centre for Paediatric Endocrinology with a further clinical fellowship in UK. She joined Aga khan Hospital soon after qualifying as a paediatrician, working initially as a resident paediatrician then consultant paediatrician before joining the Aga Khan University, department of Paediatrics in 2008, rising to the rank of assistant professor in in Paediatrics. She has held various leadership positions during her tenure at the hospital
