Internal Medicine provides long-term comprehensive care in the clinic, managing both common and complex illnesses in adolescents, adults and the elderly. Our physicians (Internal Medicine Physician or Internist) are trained in the diagnosis and treatment of infections, diseases affecting the heart, blood, kidneys, joints, digestive, respiratory and vascular systems.
The physician’s primary responsibilities include the diagnosis and care of acute and chronic medical conditions, and management of patients with multiple, complex medical problems.
