Columbia Africa Healthcare Limited is a privately held, Nairobi based healthcare group that aims to deliver evidence-based medicine in an efficient, effective and caring environment to the people living in Africa. It is funded by American Group, Columbia Pacific Management Inc.
Columbia Pacific Management was founded in 1989 by Seattle-based entrepreneur Daniel R. Baty and his sons, Stanley L. Baty and Brandon D. Baty. Columbia Pacific Management has been successfully developing private healthcare and senior living companies for over 40 years.
Columbia Pacific Management developed Columbia Asia which was founded in 1996 and is headquartered in Kuala Lumpur – Malaysia. Columbia Asia’s unique approach serves a growing need across Asia for high-quality, modern healthcare. Columbia Asia has established a network of more than 30 hospitals, clinics, and extended care facilities across Malaysia, India, Vietnam and Indonesia. The bar is set high to deliver on the promise of quality care with affordability and transparency. The innovative design of the Columbia Asia hospitals, from their manageable size to their advanced technology, is focused on creating a positive experience for patients. In January 2020, Columbia Pacific Management announced the sale of the Columbia Asia Hospitals in Malaysia, Vietnam and Indonesia to a joint venture between Hong Leong and TPG. In Oct 2020 Columbia Pacific Management announced the sale of the Columbia Asia Hospitals in India to Manipal Group.
They later founded Columbia China which is currently developing world-class medical facilities to serve a growing need in the cities of Shanghai, Jiaxing, Wuxi, Changzhou and other cities. These multi-specialty hospitals, rehabilitation facilities and clinics offer patients high quality, personalized care with access to highly trained doctors and advanced medical technologies.

Our Radiology Service offerings include Computed Tomography Scan (C.T Scan), Ultrasound Scanning, X-Rays.
Our Pathology/ Laboratory Unit has ultra-modern fully automated Laboratory machines and devises with a team of highly trained and skilled staff offering a broad menu of Laboratory tests whose reports are timely and precise. All Laboratory reports are verified and validated by our qualified Clinical Pathologist.
It also offers Comprehensive Health Check-ups tailor made to suit all age groups.
