Gynecology<\/span><\/h2>

Our female doctors provide excellent gynecological services, with a focus on patient comfort, privacy, and good service. We offer the following tests: cervical cancer screening (PAP smear and if needed: HPV testing), high vaginal swabs, and Sexual Transmitted Disease (STD) tests. \u2028Abdominal or internal vaginal (gynecological) ultrasound examinations are done by our own doctors: Dr Belia and Dr Nina.\u2028In addition, we insert intra-uterine devices (IUD of your choice: hormonal or non-hormonal) and birth control implants (implanon). \u2028In case of an abnormal PAP smear, cryotherapy (\u201ccold therapy\u201d) is available. Basic first aid such as wound suturing, wound care and simple fracture reduction and fixation can be done at the Columbia Africa, IST Clinic,. Minor surgical procedures<\/span><\/h2>

At Columbia Africa, IST Clinic, we preform small surgical procedures. This includes removal of lipoma, sebaceous cysts, (part of) the toe nail, and more. We are able to take skin biopsies and send it elsewhere for further investigation (pathology). In addition, we apply liquid nitrogen on warts and sun damaged skin (actinic keratosis). Columbia Africa, IST Clinic, has been appointed by the Tanzanian Government as an official institute to administer Yellow Fever vaccines.
